Slumdog Millionaire

The 81st Annual Academy Awards just ended and I am bursting with pride and happiness. Slumdog Millionaire won BEST PICTURE along with 8 other awards including Best Sound-Mixing, Best Original Score (A R Rahman), Best Editing, Best Directing and Best Original Song (The rest I forget). I was screaming and jumping happily. This is the year of India. I'm so glad India finally gets to show the world what they are.

And those 2 slum kids who acted as Jamal and Salim, you guys deserve a golden globe. FANTASTIC MOVIE!
Very well deserved indeed!

And I'm so happy for Kate Winslet and Sean Penn too!
